Polestar, Volvo’s performance division has been set loose on Volvo’s V90 Cross Country to make the car more appealing to performance car enthusiasts. Unlike other car companies who offer similar upgrades for their model line up, Polestar hasn’t focused solely on the performance of the V90 Cross Country. The performance tweaks to the power train and transmission mainly affect the mid-range which Volvo states is more practical for everyday usability.
The performance enhancements will be available for the T6, D4 and D5 models and include a re-calibrated gear box with faster shift times and uprated engines delivering more power than before.
